Who schedules classes?

True or False?  An academic Dean can schedule classes without asking a department.

False. Art. 10.7 makes it clear that Deans must consult department Chairs about class schedules.  That Chairperson submits a “recommended scheduling of classes” to the Dean.  If there are any “conflicts in schedules” they must be resolved by the Dean or Chief Academic Officer “working cooperatively with the department Chairperson.”
