True or False?  There is no reason for the administration to hire more full-time tenure track faculty because they can hire as many part-timers as they like.

False.  Arts. 10.8.1 and 10.8.2 make it clear that the University cannot hire unlimited numbers of part-time faculty.  The Contract guarantees that the University cannot have more than 20% of its load credits taught by part-time faculty.  This is designed to encourage the administration to hire more faculty in full-time positions to meet staffing needs.
